Yale University’s Transgender Visibility Series 2021 would not have been nearly as successful without the brilliant mind of speakers and performers such as Rose Montoya. Not only did Montoya celebrate the joy within the Transgender community in her engagement with Yale’s LGBTQ youth, but she also delivered an impactful set of resources on how to better support and uplift Transfeminine creators, artists, and people alike. As a proud Non-binary Latina, Montoya’s words and wisdoms were received by Yale’s Office LGBTQ Resources, La Casa Cultural Center, Women’s Gender and Sexuality Department, Ethnicity, Race, and Migration Department, among so many other factions of campus. We can’t wait to have Rose Montoya back again!”
